I painted two more pirates: a female near-human alien with violet skin and a small gamorrean.
Here the new miniatures (bottom left and right) with the yet painted pirates:
The female near-human was ispired by this Star Wars character:

I painted two more rebels. A "yeti" alien (fine for a star wars Akurian) and "teddy bear" alien (maybe a subspecies of ewok?). Here a picture of these aliens with the other rebel scum:

I painted four Mayan Ball Gamers for my Eldorado games:
Here a picture of the gamers with a scratch built stone ring:
As usual, the paint scheme was ispired by the mayans from the "Road to Eldorado" cartoon:
Today I played a Solo game with the expansion of Palaeo Diet: Pulp.
The scenario was simple: a band of "totally legitimate artefact-hunting" adventurers need to acquire sufficient artefacts from the surrounding area to offset the cost of their expedition. After that, their only job is to get out of the place as quickly as possible. Six markers around the table have the random values 1,1,1,2,3,4 noted on the underside. The tapirs (herd grazers) have a value of 2 each too. The adventurers need to collect artefacts or bulk whose values equal the number of adventurers +2. Any deaths among the adventurers increases the total value of artefacts/bulk required by 2.
Year 1508, Somewhere in the Central America.
I painted some 3d printed central america tapirs for my Eldorado games. They will
be fine as cattle or preys in Pulp Alley and Palaeo Diet games. I've included an old painted maya warrior, snake and black panther for scale comparison.
I painted a 3d printed jaguar. The paint scheme is ispired by the Stone Jaguar from the "Road to Eldorado" cartoon. I paint it with a simple drybrush paint scheme, trying to give it a "stone/jade/rough surface" effect. However, I'm doubtful about the final result and maybe I could consider to repaint it.
After a long pause, I painted the last warriors and guards ispired by the maya warriors from "The Road to El Dorado" cartoon. A fast and simple painting for the cannon fodder of the mayan force.
Here a groupshot of all the mayan painted until now:
These are the paint schemes from the cartoon I was ispired for the guards and warriors:
I painted five pirates as thugs of Leonia. It include two classic West End Games Star Wars aliens, a Grenadier Future Warriors Scavenger a Denizen miniature Bodyguard with ACR and a West Wind Production Montgnard (painted as a green skin alien with mask). I repainted the eyes of Leonia, now they are a little better.
I painted a Denizen and a Ral Partha miniature as Star Wars Pirates. These true 25mm miniatures have eyes really small (about 0,5mm or even less), in fact some of the eyes I painted are unsatisfactory (maybe I will try to correct them soon or later). Now I understand because some guys don't paint the eyes but leaves them black or in the shade. 😉
I was ispired by the Star Wars Pirate Captain Leonia Tavira and her bodyguard from a background character from Crimson Empire II comic book.
