Chaos Goblin Mutants

I'm planning to paint all the evil characters from the cover of the Warhammer Third Edition rulebook.
About 11 miniatures that will be a nice warband for Advanced Song of Blades & Heroes or Frostgrave.

Here the first two characters painted, two 1984 pre slotta C27 Chaos Goblin Mutants.

Chaos Minotaur

I felt that the "Pink Lotus" warband was incomplete, then I included a small minotaur.
I'm planning several warbands with the warband builder of Advanced Song of Blades & Heroes, then I'm motivated to paint more fantasy miniatures ;)

Now the warband should be complete, maybe I will paint a Greater Demon of Slaanesh, when I will have one ;)

Slaanesh Champion

Here a Slaanesh Champion I painted today. At first it should be only a member of another slaanesh warband I yet painted, but I think he will be nicer as the leader of a new slaanesh warband of about six models.

Renegade Chaos Champion

Another follower for my Radical Horusian Inquisitor. I painted him with the paint scheme of the Dark Warlord Anubis (Ronin Warriors cartoon). Not sure what name use for him, in italy it was know as "Demon", but it seem trivial. For the Background: he was a chaos undivided champion in the warhammer world that betrayed the chaos powers and joined the radical inquisitor in his quest.

Battle Report: The raid into the Beastmen village

Here another pulp alley game I've played some weeks ago. This time I tried some fantasy oldhammer warbands.

Background:

Somewhere in the Lustria jungle.

"My patron God was merciful... He promised his forgiveness to me and my treacherous sisters,
but only if we will have defeated a rival gang of followers of the hated Khorne...
Then I assumed the command again of my warband and led them in the deep of the jungle...
There we finally found a Beastmen village and our hated foes ready to raid it.
The God of Pleasure was generous, because in that village there was my favorite slave, held captive my those dirty animals...
Seemed they wanted to make an horrible feast with my treasure and other female prisoners. It would be a waste!
Then I gave the order and we prepared for battle... This time I will not disappoint my God..."

Another beastman attacked him, but the fight was useless.
The Followers of Khorne charged a lone beastman, it was easy for them to defeat him."

"The two amazons with the relic ran and crossed the bridge. The Sorceress shot another fireball against the beastman guard, he seemed to suffer the blow but survived again... He was a really a stubborn animal..."

"I taken the ebony female as my spoil, she was a beauty too but I could not forgot my favorite blonde slave..."


"The fight between the minions of khorne and the beastmen continued:  the orc warrior was down but stoically didn't surrender, two beastmen were down too and one was finally defeated.
The mighty champion of Khorne was still prey of the curse of Slaanesh, because he could only slowly move..."

3 TURN


"My amazon didn't dissapoint me, she submitted the Shamaness."


"I ran, excited to finally recapture my favorite slave. The sorceress was less enthusiast and found a safer place where use her magic spells."


"The other amazons moved... one was lucky enough to capture the blonde girl, but she was attacked from the orc warrior and lost the fight and her prisoner. The other amazon fought with the beastman, she won but could not defeat him. The followers of khorne fought with a beastman, they won and defeated him but two of them were defeated too.
At least the Champion of Khorne was still not free from the magic numbness and could not took my slave..."

4 TURN


"Finally one of my amazons defeated the lone beastman guard. The amazon with the shamaness ran to join us. The other amazon defeated the orc warrior. The mighty Champion of Khorne stole my slave, my Sorceress tried to stop him with a fireball, but nothing could hurt him. We waited the right moment to charge him, gathering all our forces... Meanwhile the last beastman was defeated by the followers of khorne, but they paid their victory with defeat too.
Now the Champion of Khorne was alone, but he was still a dangeroues foe"

5 TURN


"We charged with all our streght the lone champion, he fight well and all my amazons were down,
but he could not survive the last blow I inflicted to him and finally he was defeated...
My sorceress moved to save one of the relics lost from one of my defeated amazons..."

"Slaanesh was pleased, we defeated a mighty warband of Khorne, her greatest foe.
Furthermore we collected a rich spoil, not only my favorite slave was still in my hands but two more beautiful slaves were captured..."
