I painted five pirates as thugs of Leonia. It include two classic West End Games Star Wars aliens, a Grenadier Future Warriors Scavenger a Denizen miniature Bodyguard with ACR and a West Wind Production Montgnard (painted as a green skin alien with mask). I repainted the eyes of Leonia, now they are a little better.

West End Games - Star Wars - Imperial Remnant

I painted 5 Imperial Troopers, here a picture of them alongside other imperials. This could be a nice Imperial Remnant force (or Galactic Empire).

I painted the Imperial Troopers with their classic paint scheme.

I always liked the concept and background of the Imperial Remnant (12-44 ABY, After Battle of Yavin). It sued peace with the New Republic in 19 ABY and in 28 ABY joined the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances (the New Republic successor state) to fight the Yuuzhan-Vong. Here some informations for who don't know its background:

The Imperial Remnant, known as the Remnant, the Galactic Empire, Pellaeon's Empire or just as the Empire, was the continuation of the Galactic Empire in the outer reaches of the galaxy. It survived the fragmentation and fall of the First Galactic Empire as it slipped into decades of interregnum following the death of Emperor Palpatine as none of his alleged descendants or relatives succeeded him to the throne, remaining vacant until the ascension of Emperor Jagged Fel who established a new dynasty.

As the galaxy's largest Imperial power, the Remnant was known mostly in its own borders as the Galactic Empire, and adhered to the tenets of the former Emperor Palpatine's New Order; although slavery and anti-alien sentiment were abolished, the Remnant maintained a strong military and limited public expression.

Star Wars - Rebel Scum

Some rebel scum join Ahsoka Tano. Most are West End Games miniatures, with the addition of a Metal Magic female adventurer (converted as a female dubravan) and a Denizen miniature painted as Commander Mirith Sinn (Star Wars Crimson Empire I-II-III comics), while the other rebels' paint scheme is ispired by the rebels from the Star Wars Crimson Empire I comic book.

West End Games - Star Wars - Moff Damon Gul Reda

Here my first Star Wars miniature. A vintage West End Games Imperial Navy Trooper with a minor conversion (head/mask and rank insignia). Then I created a new character that I will use in my Solo games: Moff Damon Gul Reda.

Moff Damon Gul Reda also known as "Commander Red".

The origins of Damon Gul Reda are surrounded in secrets. He always wears a sinister battle helmet that conceals his features. It is supposed he was born to a very influential family on Coruscant. However, as far as anyone knew, Gul Reda has no family of which to speak.
Force-Sensitives find the presence of Gul Reda extremely disturbing. Gul Reda can nullify force powers, and if he is in close quarters to his targets his very existence drains the strength from force users and even normal beings. The uniquely designed battle-helm of Gul Reda, can either muffle or focus the Gul Reda powers as required. Guld Reda therefore specialised in jedi-hunting during the Great Jedi Purge.
With Palpatine's backing, Gul Reda became Moff of the Oplovis Sector in 3 ABY. After the fall of the Galactic Empire, Gul Reda remained part of the Imperial Remnant and retained control of a semi-independent sector. However, despite having both the firepower and the confidence, he did not mount a major attack on the New Republic, rather he concentrated on consolidating imperial power in his sector waiting the return of the Emperor.
Gul Reda proved to be a meticulous and efficient Moff and expect the very best of his subordinates. His sector became exceptionally well administered. Some speculated that Gul Reda served as an Emperor's Hand before his appointment as Moff.
Although at times ruthless, Gul Reda isn't uncaring, he helped to consolidate the Empire's control of the Oplovis Sector providing peace, order and prosperity to the loyal imperial citizens, but severely punishing the rebels and outlaws who still oppose to his government. His philosophy can be summed up in the motto "strict but fair". From 12 ABY, Gul Reda joined the Council of Moffs in the Pellaeon's Imperial Remnant.

While looking for ispiration for a intriguing imperial character, I was ispired by an image of the "Sith Eternal Fleet Technician".
